Collection “Virdzina” is inspired by tradition that still has not disappeared out of some Balkan’s remote spots, skillfully hiding the darkest family secrets. The thing about the tradition is that if the third child in a family is not a male, they kill her or the female child gets raised as a man. In this collection the patterns used are geometric shapes, the colors in the collection are shades of gray scale, which represent the state of the Balkan minds, mostly gray and dull, gloomy and quite rarely clear.
